This has probably already been discussed however, I thought I would add that in reference to the book, “Learn Powershell Scripting in a Month of Lunches” by Don Jones and Jefferey Hicks, Pages 14-18 there is a reference to installing SQL Server Express.
In this installation it’s important to note that the book references installing “SQL 2016”. In the “SQL 2019” install there is an option to install “SSMS” at the end.
This is a pretty cool option, since it doesn’t require a user to go out and find SQL Server Management Studio.
In the 2016 version, one had the option to “Install Tools”.
Hope that helps someone out there.
