Need to pin OSK to the taskbar

Hi everyone. I’m stumped again;

I want to automate putting the Onscreen Keyboard app (OSK) from C:\WIndows\System32 folder onto the taskbar.
Other forum help indicates that MS has disabled the PS options to do a pin-to-taskbar. A third-party app called SYSPIN is recommended, but our ITSec guy says NOPE.

Is there a relatively uncomplicated way to accomplish a taskbar pinning?

Yeah some of the verbs like ‘pin to taskbar’ only work through the context menu for security reasons. There is possibly a low level call to do it but that code can be a bit complex to create

PS App Deploy Kit claims it can pin to taskbar. Not sure if it’s just apps or not.
