I am trying to find a way to [transfer] a user’s mailbox from the client into a [common file format used to store mail data locally] and save that on a network share. Unfortunately, we don’t have access to the O365 server, so it has to be done on the client. I’ve found scripts to do it on the Exchange server, but could not find anything for running the export on the client.

This is something where you’d need, most likely, to purchase a third-party tool, or get into Outlook scripting.
However - I need to edit your post on you. Keywords like [the P word] and so on invariably attract a huge amount of forums spam from those third-party vendors, and it’s a huge problem.
