Passwords in email and outdated email templates

I logged in and updated my profile information, per the email sent out earlier today. While I was there, I figured I’d change my password as well. I received an email from website@powershell.org informing me that my password has been updated, and below that was my new password typed out in the body of the email. Is this intentional? Is this best practices?

Also, I sent the above to website@powershell.org, as instructed at the bottom of the automated emails for my account being verified and updating my password, but received a reply saying that website@powershell.org is just a website and cannot reply (fair enough). The text at the bottom of the automated emails is:

If you have any further questions, please contact us at website@powershell.org.

No worries. It took me two days to figure out where that crap was buried. Turned out to be directly in front of my face.
