Find recent/ latest install date of Microsoft Windows Patch and Microsoft Offie Patch

Hi All,

I am trying to look for a way to get the recent/ latest install date for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office patches but I am able to get the last install date for Microsoft Windows through qfe or get-hotfix but its not showing Office patches.

Is there any way I can get the latest date of office patch installation?

What have you tried so far?

There is likely a better way, but here is what I use.

$Updates = Get-ItemProperty -Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\*\Patches\*'

Then, to get the date:

$Updates.Installed

You can then massage those dates to get the format you like.

You may also be interested in:

$Updates.DisplayName

My goal was to get as close as possible to the items in Control Panel/Programs and Features/Installed Updates … but I never found a way to do that accurately. This is the closest I got.
