Some Storage cmdlets do not work in WinPE

Hello,
I am experiencing the issue with Windows 10 1607 in Windows PE with cmdlets Clear-Disk and New-Partition, at least. Those cmdlets just do nothing and produce no error message from within WinPE

Yes, a few ones.

  1. Is this a well-known bug (feature) ?
  2. Is there any documentation on why it does not work/how to make it work

I’d imagine it’s neither a bug nor a feature, it’s just a matter of the underlying support not existing in WinPE. That’d mean there’s no workaround.
