Also unveiled at the conference was Microsoft’s .NET Core 3 Preview 1 code, which adds support for building apps using WPF, Windows Forms and XAML Islands.

This would bear out to mean VSCode and PSCore soon to have GUI capabilities along with this a big missing piece for many still sticking with Windows PowerShell specifically because of not having this feature set.

Interesting, I was just playing around with a WPF form and PSGUI. I was trying to mess around with TabControl and TabItem, but placement and styling in that format is not very straight-forward. Thanks for the heads up and for setting a good eXAMpLe!! :slight_smile:

eXAMpLe!! :slightly_smiling_face:

I see what you did there.

;-}

I still stick with Visual Studio for all my WPF stuff and add PS via the PoSHTools add on.
Sapien PS Studio has been my go to since 2012 for WinForms and .Exe PS projects.
I have huge investment in GUI dev via the ISE and all version of Monad - PS. So, I was real happy about this announcement for PSCore.
