I consider myself a lazy administrator, if I have to do something more than 5 times I’ll look for a way to do it automatically. I use whatever tools are at my disposal and in the past I’ve used: batch, basic, vbscript, ksh/bash on *nix, winbatch, gnuwin32 ports of *nix tools, VBA (and older style macros before that). Sometimes I’ve even used scripts to write scripts for me, and I’ll make some minor edits to generated script before using it.
