has anyone installed sql reporting service with DSC?
not familiar with software but it looks like it needs some configure after the install.

I have yet to find a way to automate SSRS configuration post install (except AutoIt but that snot really automation 
)
So unfortunately I dont think you’ll be able to pass on that manual phase.
As the SQL team didnt switch to UserVoice yet, try their connect page to raise your issue. You’re most likely going to find others have done so before you so add your voice
there are two resources in the xsqlserver module for ssrs. Not sure what you mean by post install changes but if you need to branch out and make a custom resource most things in ssrs are available from wmib
