# SCCM detection method rule for existing application

Hi folks. I’m trying to find out if it is possible to update the value field within a “detection rule” of SCCM via powershell. I’ve attached a web link below that shows the fields within SCCM for a certain application. Is it possible to update the “Value” field? From the example below, can we change it from 11.0 to like 12.4? Thanks much
