# Retention Period of eventlog

I tried help get-eventlog to get information about retention period of eventlog , i could not locate information in help ,Please assist

I think you accidentally typed this into [Powershell.org](http://Powershell.org) instead of [bing](http://www.bing.com)/[google](http://www.google.com)/[ecosia](http://www.ecosia.org)/[duckduckgo](http://www.duckduckgo.com) or whatever your favorite search engine is.
