Do we have any Microsoft exams for PS certification?
There are PowerShell components to many current Microsoft exams, but there isn’t a certification just for PowerShell itself that MS offers. At the moment, the only one I’m aware of is PowerShell.org’s “Verified Effective” program, but that’s fairly small at the moment (the exams can only be taken at the PowerShell Summit.)
This question comes up fairly regularly and every time we’ve discussed with Microsoft the answer has been along the lines that PowerShell is a tool to do stuff - its the stuff that employers are interested in not PowerShell. Having a PowerShell exam would be the same as having an exam in using the MMC
