PowerShell Module Deletion (unexpected deletion)

Modules:

  • SkypeForBusiness
  • Lync
Has anyone in experienced unexpected module deletion under default POSH module path? I checked 'Windows Powershell' log for any 'remove-module' activity. Also checked Windows logs for any file deletion events and nothing.

Appreciate any information, I was thinking perhaps .NET upgrade, or some other Windows patch may have caused this. Also deleted local POSH profiles…

can you give us the exact module location where it was placed, there are multiple locations where modules are expected. Are you able to reproduce this or this happened only once for you ?

@kvprasoon - The path is the default PowerShell module path c:\windows\system32\windowspowershell\v1.0\modules
