Incremental backup / differential backup script

HI guys
Im working new with Powershell and wanted to create some backups for my files.
I know that I can work with robocopy but this isn´t something for me.
Now to my question:
Does anyone of you ever wrote a backup script that he would like to share where f.eg is possible to do an incremental or differential backup? Or an fullbackup?

There is a version here which I produced a while ago: https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Backup-recently-changed-8efd27f1?redir=0
It detects which scripts were changed and copies them to another folder, USB, etc.
