Ok, I’m in a bit of a bind here…
I need a script that will:
goto specific folder on client computer
get all shortcuts in the particular folder
change the ‘url’ from intranet.site.com\ to intranet<br>
some changes have been made to our sharepoint website, and fqdn doesn’t work anymore…
it’s the sharepoing websites folder shortcuts I need to change…
I know I should post what I’ve done so far… but honestly, I haven’t started googling for code snippets yet… and I am not experienced enough to just do code my self… yet…
So I am hoping for some pointers, maybe a script, something…
If you can use GPO preferences to adapt shortcuts, providing the shortcuts have the same name. Loads easier to manage.
