I want update my system from say (1511 to 1607). Can I use PsWindowsUpdate module cmdlets to do that work by providing them an ISO. They have downloaded switch to do and the documentation said it knows where the update files will be. So where do I keep the ISO files? Do I need to extract them and keep there. Could any one help me.
I guess maybe I don’t understand your question… PsWindowsUpdate is meant to automate Windows Update, but if you’ve got a full Windows ISO, wouldn’t you just run the installer that’s on the ISO?
Whatif we want to use the PsWindowsUpdate module to update through ISO instead of using the installer.
