ActiveSyncDevice Errors

by morpheus83uk at 2012-08-22 01:52:52

I am running the following command:

Get-ActiveSyncDevice -Mailbox <>

and it seems to work fine but does not pull out the correct information which is in OWA… Its coming up with the last wiped phone opposed to the actual device which is being used or all devices which have been used and are being displayed in OWA.

I get the following information back:

FriendlyName :
DeviceId :
DeviceImei :
DeviceMobileOperator :
DeviceOS :
DeviceOSLanguage :
DeviceTelephoneNumber :
DeviceType :
DeviceUserAgent :
DeviceModel :
FirstSyncTime :

Guid :
ObjectCategory :

WhenChanged :
WhenCreated :

OrganizationId :
OriginatingServer :

After this I get the following error:

WARNING: An unexpected error has occurred and a Watson dump is being generated: The type

Does anyone know why I am not getting the correct information and the errors above?

Many Thanks

Can you update to the latest SP and RU? Where are you running the cmdlet from? Can you try running it against another server (if you have one) to see if it may be an issue with an individual server?

Unfortunately not as I am not in charge of this…

I am running the cmdlet from my machine and not the server and we only have 1 server :frowning:

Is there anything which can be done to fix this as is?

Many Thanks

Are you manually loading the management snapin into a generic PS session?

I am yes.
